Matataki Raimon (雷(らい)門(もん) 瞬(またたき), Raimon Matataki) is one of the main character of Hoshikuzu Telepath manga series. She is Umika's classmate and is mainly in charge of thrusting in tsundere.

Appearance

Matataki wears goggles on her head with pigtails of orange hair. She has dark magenta eyes and a perpetual frown. Along with the standard uniform, she also wears a belt equipped with tools and red sneakers.

Personality

At the beginning of the story, Matataki is a high school student and an excellent mechanic enough to make robots, she is aggressive and a lone wolf to the extent that she keeps people away, claiming that she is only interested in what she is interested in, so she didn't go to school. Although she didn't study normally, her grades were good in junior high school, especially in science.

In a plastic bottle rocket competition with Umika, she used a model rocket powered by gunpowder (solid fuel) with a plastic bottle attached to it to win against Umika and her team, who used a standard water rocket powered by water and compressed air. After that, she became a leader in the production of model rockets for Umika and others. In addition to holding a level three model rocket license, she also holds an instructor's license and helped Umika and others obtain their model rocket licenses.

• The name Matataki means "instant" (瞬).
• Matataki's surname Raimon means "thunder" (雷, rai) and "gate" (門, mon).
