In the faculty office, Emihara thinks about the right rockets and wants to give them a better chance of getting accepted. Umika and her friends talk seriously about rockets because they were working in secret; Emihara can do to get it greenlit and it will be a more concrete idea by next week. Emihara thinks the club name has a snazzier.
Haruno hopes that they can secure some club funds and can make a big rocket. Matataki talks to Umika about looking for a place to belong, but she has never minded. She took the liberty of filling it out and decided that Umika would become club president. Yu attempts Matataki that she will become vice club president but Matataki chooses Haruno instead. She took her of it but Umika was the president and the form is proof that a tiny spark. They need to discuss for their club and Haruno sees Matataki's working on something else, and Matataki tells them that tomorrow's another day of showing up to school but they surprise her, then Haruno gives Matataki notice for a handout. She announces to them when the first-years are going on a two-day study camp and they make it a trip to remember.
In Umika's dream, she thinks of feeling as though she is surrounded by sparkles. They have a memory for her about launching a bottle rocket for the first time, going shopping with her friends, and becoming friends with Matataki. Umika doesn't want to lie for sparkles. They try to wake Umika up, but she's still not awake because she feels short of breath. Emihara just knows that they made it to the building and time for the workshop; she trusts them to look over the reading materials and they will get their groups. Matataki thought choosing this high school was a mistake and her group was joined by Haruno. Umika thinks when she uses the given documents and literary works but Yu doesn't mean for "documents."
Saya and her group discussed the beginning of the workshop and she introduced herself, and then they applauded her. Umka thought the essay on page 21 was interesting, Yu teaches her how to read the kanji. Saya tells her what she thought, but her mind's gone. Umika tells them her thoughts because the author's novels always take place in winter, but the essay alone uses spring as its theme. Emihara gives a map to them, Matataki tries to steal Yu's food during dinner, they take a bath together for the group, and play in the room, and then sleep. Umika seems fun for the study camp and always hated being in situations, and they spark again because she met Yu. She remembers when she was already president, decided by Matataki, but Umika maybe can't be president. She is worried that Yu hasn't come back from the bathroom and imagines that Yu is abducted by a fellow alien.
Umika finds Yu somewhere until she's going outside of the building, and then she will find her while Yu looks up at the sky. Yu meets Umika after finding her and cuddles her. She points to the sky when it's sparkling, and finds herself lost in thought out there, and could be her home planet. She just forgets it when she says and feels lonely, Umika swears that they will make it into space. Back when they first met, she thought her dream wasn't a very realistic one, but that's not true. She should be Haruno and Matataki are there to help them and their new club. She promises to take her there and will be the one to make all her wishes, and can't put it into words. Yu wants to hear Umika's words to the very end and almost uses her forehead ability until Matataki creaks it and they disturb them. Mataataki is the only one who apologizes to them after disturbing and Yu introduces her forehead ability. Matataki tossed the firework rockets to Umika and she said Umika had never touched one. They will prepare firework rockets, Umika's tiny dream is moving forward a little and her dream isn't just a fairy tale. Matataki will launch those fireworks rockets in a few seconds, Yu backhugs Umika and starts using Odekopathy, and surely they'll go to space.
In the post-credit scene (after Yu uses her Odekopathy to Haruno), Yu tries to play her Odekopathy to Matataki and Haruno protects her, but she plays Umika instead.
